Goals,  Personal Growth,  Success

One Day

There is only one day left until 2016 begins with a world of unknown joys, hurts, successes and failures. One day.

Knowing this truth got me thinking about a different “one day.” The proverbial “One day I’ll…”

One day I’ll…

  • go to Cancun
  • ride a wild mustang in Colorado
  • drive a mustang wildly on Daytona beach

Perhaps that’s what your list looks like. Here’s a look at some of my One Day Dreams.

One day I’ll…

  • write an e-book
  • buy a house with land
  • become debt free
  • weigh 158 pounds again
  • meet our sponsor child in Ethiopia

You have your One Day dreams too.

So on this final day of 2015, I want to challenge you. Let’s call it the  #fromwhereIsit One Day Challenge, because all good challenges need to have a cool internet name. I love goals, but instead of making an endless list of goals to accomplish in 2016, I want you to focus on one of the biggies- one of your One Day dreams.

#fromwhereIsit One Day Challenge

  1. Pick it. Select a specific date in 2016 to accomplish your dream.
  2. Plan it. Decide on the actions you will take to see  the dream become reality on the selected date.
  3. Partner it. Find a trusted friend to help see your dream actualized. A friend can provide both accountability and encouragement as you make your plans and execute.
  4. Do it!  As much as I love alliteration, it’s just that easy. If you’ve made a plan and partnered with someone to push you, it’s time to introduce rubber to the road.

I’ll go first.

On June 1, 2016, I will publish my first e-book via my blog subscription list. -Nathan A. Claycomb
