37 Thankfuls

On a snowy night just 40 minutes shy of February 7, 1979, a red-haired, brown-eyed baby boy screamed his way into this world. #fromwhereIsit 37 years later I am thankful for my Creator and my parents that gave me life and the countless number of friends, family, influencers and challengers that have shaped me during my journey thus far.

Today I have made a list of 37 things for which I’m thankful during my 37th year. Rather than overwhelm you with the entire list, here are ten special moments that I thank God I experienced since February 6, 2015.

  1. Celebrating ten years of marriage with the one woman in this world who means more to me than any other gift from God
  2. Enrolling Ephram in elite travel soccer and watching him come alive on the field
  3. Watching Ethan master riding a bike without training wheels and soar
  4. Promoting Sight & Sound Theatres in London, England
  5. Learning more about ourselves and growing closer as a family through multiple health challenges
  6. Experiencing old friends in new ways as we age together
  7. Making new friends who instantly feel like old ones
  8. Being part of a workplace with a huge mission and incredible compassion for all who serve within
  9. Traveling all over the world
  10. Coming home

As we grow older, birthdays are celebrated much differently than when we were kids. And for that, I am thankful too.

What are you thankful for in your 28th, 42nd, 69th or whatever year of life you are growing through? Leave a comment below, and let’s grow together!
